CRACOE MAIN STREET SD 96 SE (north-west side) Coxon's Farmhouse and 4/2 barn attached to left II GV Farmhouse and attached barn range. C17 with mid C19 refronting to house, C18 barn. 2-storey, 3-bay house with narrow projecting wing to right and a rear wing to bay 1; a 4th bay to right in farm use; 5-bay barn to left. Quoins to barn and to far right. C19 porch between bays 1 and 2 with panelled door; a C20 glazed door to bay 3 under a porch built into the angle with the projecting wing and supported on a Tuscan column. Paired 4- pane sashes in plain surrounds to ground and first floor, bays 1 and 2; a narrow recessed chamfered window above right-hand entrance. Bay 4: byre door far right, external steps to loading door left, both with chamfered quoined surrounds. An added lean-to outbuilding in the angle with the projecting wing which has a square latticed window with plain surround to left return. Shouldered corniced stacks at left end to ridge between bays 2 and 3, and to gable of wing. Barn to left: central tall cart porch under outshut roof; end byre doors with quoined jambs, the left doorway having a raised lintel and inserted overlight; square loading door under eaves left; small blocked quoined opening to right of cart entrance. Rear, house: a plank door left of centre, with tie-stone jambs and large lintel with 2 rcessed panels and raised letters "I C" and "16?9". A blocked doorway to right. C19 sashes in plain surrounds. The rear wing has two 3-light recessed chamfered mullion windows to gable end, the lower blocked, and two of 2-lights to left return. Interior: the glazed door opens into a former cross passage, behind the large stack which serves a fireplace in the middle room. The fireplace lintel is in 3 pieces with a central keystone and 2 massive flanking stones incised in imitation of voussoirs. C19 staircase.
