House. Dated 1650. Limestone rubble, rendered in part, graduated stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 4 bays with C19 or C20 added bay to right. Quoins. 2-storey porch, bay 3, with half-glazed 4-panel door in chamfered quoined surround; 4-centred arch under a square chamfer; plaque above has 2 recessed panels with relief lettering, "1650" above and "I S M S " below. Recessed chamfered mullion windows throughout, of 3 stepped lights to porch first floor; of 3, 4 and 5 lights with hoodmoulds to ground floor; of 2, 3, and 3 lights to first floor. A stair turret in the angle to left of porch has narrow single-light windows. End stacks, ridge stack between bays 1 and 2. Interior not inspected at resurvey. The staircase position is unusual, most being placed on the rear wall or alternatively, at the front of the house within the porch, the door being placed off-centre.
