House. C17 with C18 refenestration. Limestone rubble, graduated stone
slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 first- floor windows with outshut bay projecting
on left. 4-panel door in C20 trellised wooden porch to right of centre
with a 2-light flat-faced mullion window to left and a blocked recessed
chamfered window left again. Other windows are 16-pane or 4-pane sashes in
plain surrounds. Large ridge stack left of centre, end stack left.
Outshut with board door and square opening on front; C20 door right return,
now entrance to post office. Interior not inspected at re-survey. The
blocked C17 window and large stack indicate the early date of this range;
the stone work coursing continues through to the Constabulary House (q.v.)
suggesting a much larger range originally, perhaps a house and a barn.
