Details
STAINFORTH SHERWOOD BROW SD 86 NW 2/31 Sherwood House Farm Cottage GV II Cottage. C18 with late C19/C20 alterations. Slobbered rubble, stone dressings, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, double fronted. Entrance has plain surround on square base and C20 porch. Left-hand ground floor 3-light double chamfered mullioned window with a slate dripstone. Blocked entrance with heavy stone slate lintel to right. Remaining windows are late C19/C20 3-light with flat faced mullions. Mixture of C19 and C20 casements, sashes and fixed lights. Gable end ridge stacks. Left-hand stack projecting from gable. Outshot under catslide roof at rear.
