Formerly part of Commercial Hotel, now shops. Dated 1774. Watershot masonry. Pointed stone dressings, stone slate roof. Two storeys, four bays. Left hand bay has coach entrance with surround of milled stone: rusticated jambs, round headed arch and dated keystone. C20 shop front and entrance to Co-op and C20 door to Anthony Shaw on right. Four upper floor windows have plain surrounds with projecting sills and C20 casements. Projecting quoins. Heavy eaves cornice. Late C19 glazed dormer. Gable end ridge stack and stack to right of carriage entrance. Included for group value.
