Farmhouse with cowhouse attached, Late C17, altered and cowhouse added in C18. Deeply-coursed, squared gritstone, the cowhouse more roughly faced. Stone slate roof. L-shaped house plan with crosswing to left projecting to rear, outshut to rear of main range, cowhouse attached to right. 2 storeys, house with 3 windows to first floor. House; panelled door to left in bonded ashlar surround with shaped lintel and cornice, another door to right in chamfered quoined surround. Between the doors, a 3-light mullion window to left and similar 2-light window to right, both with square-faced surrounds and wood casements. To first floor left similar 2-light and 3-light windows, to right a 3-light double- chamfered mullion window. Crosswing gable has moulded kneelers and gable copings and shouldered, corniced end stack, Renewed ashlar ridge stack to main range. To rear of crosswing: quoins. Blocked 2-light double- chamfered window to ground floor, similar glazed 3-light window above with hoodmould. Small, blocked round-headed opening above. Cowhouse; 4 board doors to ground floor in chamfered, quoined reveals, left door wider. 2 square openings to first floor. Barn attached to front of crosswing not of special interest.
