II
House. Late C17 with mid C19 extension and alteration. Hammer- dressed stone, dressed quoins, stone slate roof. 2 storeys. 2-cell central lobby-entry plan with added C19 cross-wing to left. Cross-wing has quoins up to 1st-floor level and single-light window to each floor with stone sill and lintels set back, house has central doorway with monolithic jambs and chamfered surround which rises to form false ogee lintel. Above is bullseye window with raised architrave the top spandrels initialled " A S ", the lower spandrels with much- weathered date " --74 ", possibly 1674. To either side large altered C19 windows with plain stone surrounds. That to ground-floor right of 2 lights. Central stack to ridge. Rear outshut has original window with double-chamfered surround set in side wall. Dilapidated and unoccupied.
