House (No 8) and attached cottage (No 7). House mid C18, cottage, early C19. Thin coursed rubble with dressed quoins to house, random rubble to cottage. House double-depth with single-cell cottage, (former No 2) to rear. Two storeys. Three-bay symmetrical facade. Doorway with monolithic jambs and lintel. To either side two-light flat-faced mullioned windows with plain stone surrounds to each floor retaining two-paned sashes. Gable stacks; stone to left hand, brick to right. Attached cottage has lower roof line and has two bays of four-paned sash windows with roughly dressed lintels. Doorway at junction with house has similar lintel and rectangular fan-light. Central brick stack to ridge. Left-hand return wall has doorway for former No 2 with roughly dressed lintel and sash window to ground floor only. Rear has two square windows with plain stone surrounds to each floor.
