4/9 Fell Edge Farmhouse 10/9/54 II
Souse. Late Cl7. Large dressed stone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys. 2-cell direct end-lobby entry plan with outshut or aisle to rear under cat-slide roof. Doorway with shaped lintel has chamfered surround that rises to form a false ogee. This is covered by mid-C20 gabled stone porch. All are double-chamfered mullioned windows with all mullions removed, originally of 4 lights and 3 lights. 2 stacks to ridge.
Interior: stop-chamfered spine beams and floor joists. One roof purlin has ½-lap joint re-used from earlier building.
