Details
1. 5111 SKIPTON ROAD Ilkley LS29 9RP ------------------ Outbuilding next to Netherwood House on north-east SE 04 NE 3/81 II GV 2. Dated 1702. Probably former stable. 2 storeys and cellar. Coursed rubble. Stone slab roof with gable copings and kneelers. 2 windows with slab surrounds, flat mullions and glazing bars to fixed glazing and eared sashes. In place of the lower right-hand window a coach door with segmental head. South end has left-hand stone steps to upper door. Below is an off centre door and right-hand window with mullion. In gable, 3 small openings, presumably for doves, with moulded sills (right-hand with the date incised).
Netherwood House, the outbuilding next to Netherwood House on north east; north and south outbuildings of Ramsgill Farm; pair of cottages west of Netherwood House; House to north-east of Netherwood House; outbuilding abutting latter house to east form a group. The north and south outbuildings at Ramsgill Farm, pair of cottages west of Netherwood House and the outbuilding abutting the outbuilding abutting house north-east of Netherwood House to the east, on the east, are of local interest only.
