II
Hammer-dressed stone, stone slate roof, early C17 with mid C18 and early C19
additions. C17 portion now cross-wing at left hand end which has double chamfered
mullioned window of 5 lights and one of 4 lights above, both with hoodmould with square
return. Gable rendered. Adjoining, set back from wing is C18 portion with 2 classical
bays, 2 large rectangular windows have raised surrounds with 8 pane sashes with C19
door inserted between. Large thick band, separates same windows above. Moulded
brackets to eaves and projecting ashlar quoins to end. Lower C19 cottage to right
not part of the item.
