ELLAND BEESTONLEY LANE SE 073193 5/5 Burial Ground Boundary and retaining wall with gates and steps to the Providence United Reformed Church 29.4.82 G.V. II

Burial ground boundary walls, gates and steps, c.1814. Triangular plot bounded by drystone wall. Single ashlar gate piers with wrought iron overthrow to apex. The wall becomes a retaining-wall with fall in ground along roadside back towards chapel where there is a right angle stone staircase set into wall, retaining wrought iron waved rails and iron finialed turner standards, all of c.1814.
