BROOK STREET 1. 5113 (North Side) Nos 13 to 17 (odd) SE 1417 28/267 II 2. Mid C19. Hammer-dressed stone. Ashlar dressings. 3 storeys. Double chamfered eaves cornice. Continuous 1st floor sill. 6 ranges of sashes with blind pointed ashlar fanlights inscribed with quatrefoils to 1st floor. 2 modern shop windows. 2 doors with 8 sunk panels each, and pointed fanlights, in an elaborate portal; this has bracketed and moulded cornice with ornamental cast iron cresting, poointed arches with deeply moulded voussoirs and foliate roundels in spandrels, imposts with foliage of Romanesque character, chamfered pilasters with coloured glazed tiles inset, and one ringed pink granite column.
