SOWERBY BRIDGE SOWERBY STREET SE 0423 & SE 0523 (north side) 12/231 No 50 GV II Wool store now house. Late C18. Coursed Squared stone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys with loft. Road front: 2 bays: Quoins. Plain stone surrounds to openings. Central door flanked by windows with raised cills on each floor. End stack to right. Rear: 6-light flat-faced mullion window on 1st floor; similar ground-floor window altered. Left return: blocked central cart-entry, quoined, with imposts and voussoirs and later 2-light flat-faced mullion window inserted; door on left; similar 2-light window above; gable taking-in door flanked by small 2-light windows under corbelled wooden canopy.
