4/47 Former Staincliffe Vicarage
G.V. II
Former vicarage. Dated 1870, by W H Crossland. Hammer dressed stone. Steeply pitched slate roof with copings to the numerous gables. 2 storeys and attic. 3 bay facade with 2 storey, 4-light canted bay to right. Central porch with steeply gabled roof and buttressed walls. Hood mould with carved stops and date 1870. One 3-light chamfered window over. To left is 10-light mullioned and transomed chamfered window with 3-light window to 1st floor. To sides and rear are various mullioned and transomed windows and 2 arched doorways.
