SE 10 NE PARIS ROAD 5/252 (Scholes)

House, end of later row. Early or mid C18. Hammer dressed stone. Quoins. Stone slate roof. Gable copings on moulded kneelers. Ashlar gable stack. Two storeys. Square string course between floors. Two bays. Three-light chamfered windows with recessed mullions. Within C19 stone extension on left gable is original doorway with chamfered surround and arched lintel. To rear is outshut extension of similar date. Small semi-circular addition has blocked access from within with small false arch and stone sill, and is thought to have been oven though chimney missing. Formerly two 2-light double chamfered windows to first floor of left gable, and one to right has now been removed. Interior: oak panelled partition. King post roof truss with struts, and braced. King post is extended to take ridge piece.
