Lower Green Gate and Barn

II

Terrace of formerly 3 dwellings with barn at 90° attached by later extension. Early C19. Barn probably mid C19. Hammer dressed stone. Stone slate roof (recent). Gable copings. Three stacks. Two storeys. Ground floor altered. Two entrances. Four large single light windows of later date. First floor has six 3-light stone mullioned windows, 3 of which were formerly part of one 12-light window now with 3 lights blocked. Rear: first floor has two 3-light, one 4-light and one 2-light stone mullioned window. Barn to left: East side has large central doorway with deep lintel on rounded corbels. Small vent over with semi-circular head.
