Stable-block and barracks now disused farm buildings. c1800; altered. Coursed, squared magnesian limestone; stone slate and pantiled roof. Two storeys, 1:2:2:2:1 bays; ends and centre project. Plinth, large quoins. Centre and end bays have blind windows with projecting stone sills and flat arches; recessed bays each have a panel flanked by raised piers and a small casement inserted below a continuous first-floor band.
First floor: centre windows have projecting sills and cemented flat arches; recessed bays each have inserted window; end bays have short windows with projecting sills and flat arches. Central two-bay pediment with oculus in tympanum and round apex stack with cornice; end bays have moulded eaves cornice.
Rear: external stone steps to end bay on right lead to loft door flanked by short original windows with projecting sills and flat arches; centre block has door flanked by windows on each floor and pediment as front; bays to each side have been built out in line with centre in later brickwork. Used as barracks in the C19. Occupies dominant position on southern exit from Wetherby.
Adjoining farm buildings not of special interest.
