AIREBOROUGH NEW ROAD SIDE SE 24 SW LS 19 (east side) Rawdon 5/15 Trinity Church 30.4.1982 Sunday School GV II
Sunday school, now hall. Circa 1846, extended. Coursed squared sandstone, slate roof, Rectangular plan;4 bays, with 5th added at rear. Early English style. Buttressed gable to road has single-storey cross-gabled porch with 2-centred arched doorways in both side walls, that in the left side blind, coupled lancets in the front, and coped gables; a single lancet each side of the porch, with hoodmoulds on foliated stops; above the porch a large hexafoiled circular window; a small louvred trefoil above this. Steeply- pitched roof with gable coping and apex cross. Buttressed side walls, with coupled lancets. Extension to rear in similar style, with gable chimney.
