6/107 Barn approx. 30 metres 11th February 1986 north of Royds Hall

Barn. Probably C17. Timber frame with later casing of handmade brick, stone slate roof. Rectangular 5-bay plan; wall-posts exposed on both sides, and gable truss at south end; square-headed wagon doors to centre, that on east side partly blocked (altered stable range abutting the right-hand end of this side not included in the item).

Interior: 4 post and truss frames with arch-bracing to tie-beams, king-post trusses with longitudinal bracing to the ridge; 2 pairs of trenched purlins.
