5/3 Ive Tomb Approximately 3 Metres To North Of North Aisle Of Church Of St. Mary (q.v.)

Chest tomb. Dated 1817. Ashlar. Moulded base, panelled ends, panelled sides with central fluted post, square comer piers with horizontal fluting, and fluted frieze with paterae. Wrought iron railed surround with plain railings and standards with urn finials. Inscribed: This Tomb is created in the memory of Mr. Edward Ive of this parish who died January 1817 Aged 76 years.
