SWALLOWFIELD THE STREET SU 76 SW (north side) 11/19 The Old Post House and Swallowfield Cottage G.V. II House now divided in 2. Late C18 altered C19, and extended C20. Brick, hipped old tile roof. Rectangular plan with C20 extensions on left and at rear. 2 storeys. 2 chimneys on ridge. Dentil eaves. Small pane casements mostly 3-light. Entrance front:- 4 bays, casements with segmental heads except shallow C19 bay on right on ground floor; 6-panelled door in second bay from right and C20 small pane glazed door under flat hood in first bay on left. To the left of this and set back is a one bay C20 2 storey brick extension with hipped tile roof.
