The Rectory
GV II
Rectory, formerly private house. Late C19. Painted slatestone rubble walls and
hipped scantle slate roof with one surviving brick chimney over right side wall. 2
room, double depth, central stair plan with service wing to rear. 2 storeys. 3
window north front, in widened opening to ground floor right. Other opening original
and overlight. Flat-headed porch has octagonal columns similar to others in
Portscatho nearby. 12-paned, horned sashes.
Interior has original stair with octagonal newel posts and 2-panel doors with raised
mouldings.
