Farmhouse. C17, altered and extended C19 with later alterations. Rubble, roughcast, brick, stone dressings, slate roof with raised coped verges and external gable stacks, double Roman tiled rear wings. U-plan, now infilled, former through passage. 2½ storeys and 4 windows, all 3-light wooden casements smaller in attic storey, except ground floor with 2 metal framed windows, one to each side of central porch with gable, raised coped verges and kneelers, basket arched opening with gauged brick surround and keystone, pointed arched light to each side with original window fittings, deep splayed reveals, 4-panelled and glass door in moulded frame. East side has single storey extension, east wing of 2 storeys and 3 windows, 1st floor left a C19 3-light casement, ground left a C17 3-light casement with iron stanchions and loop catches, the rest C20 casements; west side has a ground floor 2-light casement with iron stanchions, similar window at first floor with loop catches. Rear has C20 window to left and 2 storey C20 extension. Interior: cellar, panelled doors, lattice door in former cheese room, chamfered and stopped beams, rear door possibly reset from former cross passage position is plank and batten with strap hinges, pintles still in former door opening; roof has collar, king-post and principal rafters, stud and rail partition with chamfered and run-out stopped rails dividing front and rear attics.
