Details

GWENNAP SW 74 SW 4/101 Tin Boundary Stones at - SW 740420 SW GV II Tin boundary stone, probably early C19, granite roughly dressed monolith roughly square-on-plan with the Roman letter B incised to north side. Lying nearby to west, uprooted, is similar stone with the letter P. These boundary stones used to be numerous but later C20 remodelling of the landscape has removed all but a few. Originally sited to mark boundaries of mineral rights.
