LOFTUS GASKEL LANE NZ 71 NW (south side), Loftus. 1/13 Mill sluice in garden of No. 5 - II Mill sluice with gate, early C19, Coursed sandstone rubble, timber and cast iron. Short length of channel about 70cm wide. At south end, gate in timber framework can be raised and lowered by ratchet gear. Approximately 60m to south of Loftus Mill (q.v.)
