5 chest tombs from 3m south east
of Church of Saint Wenappa

Group of chest tombs with indecipherable or hidden inscriptions. Circa late
C18/early C19. All with granite ashlar sides. 3 to south with granite lids. One to
north with slate lid and one to far north with lid missing or buried under soil
deposition. Each chest is rectangular on plan and orientated west to east. Second
and third chest from south each have central raised rectangular panel. All are very
overgrown with ivy.
