LUDGVAN LUDGVAN CHURCHTOWN SW 53 SW 8/45 Rogers chest tomb east of south - aisle of Church of St Paul GV II Chest tomb with integral headstone. To John Rogers of Treassowe and of Penrose ac Sithney, 1750-1832 and Margaret, widow of the above, died 1842. Rectangular-on-plan dressed granite chest with pedimented headstone at the east end. Moulded lid to chest and moulded border to the incised inset plaque fastened to the headstone. Marble slabs at the side of the chest (now loose). John Rogers probably the member of the Rogers family who built Rogers' Tower qv.
