31.10.66 Tudor Oaks Motel (formerly listed as North Road House)
II
House, now converted to hotel. C16 and C17. Timber framed construction, mostly with colourwashed plaster infill, but red brick infill to some areas. Clay tile roofs. H-plan, 2 storeyed main block, cross-wings of 2 storeys and attics. Leaded casement windows throughout, mostly C20 replacements. Ground floor of central block has lean-to addition out to line of cross-wings. To LH of central block is substantial red brick ridge stack with 5 moulded octagonal shafts. RH cross-wing has red brick stack to RH side wall. Rear elevation has small gabled projection of 2 storeys and attics in line with ridge stack. Variety of C20 additions to rear.
