Farmhouse. C17 origin with mid C19 and C20 alterations. Rubble, double Roman
tiled roof with stone gable stacks. Probably through passage plan. 2 storeys
and 2 windows, ground floor has paired plate-glass sashes with painted wooden
dentilled lintels, first floor has 4-pane sashes in exposed boxes under eaves,
central panelled door with glazed panel under triangular hood on wooden piers, to
left small single light at mid-storey with timber lintel, possibly stair light;
attached to left a 1 1/2 storey range of outbuildings, with 2-light iron-latticed
opening with segmental head, door with segmental head and partially earlier
frame, door with stone segmental head and 2 doors with timber lintels, C20 raking
dormer to right and roof-level slightly raised; single storey garage addition to
left. Right return has plate-glass sash at ground floor right, straight joint
to small single storey addition to rear with C20 plate glass window. Rear has
single storey addition with glazed door and 3-pane light, 3-light casement to
right, first floor has two 2-light and one single light casement under eaves.
Interior: not inspected.
The asset was previously listed twice also at List entry 1136327. This entry was removed from the List on 25th August 2015.
