Formerly house and stables, now 2 houses: C17 core with late C18 and C20 alterations. Coursed squared buff sandstone rubble. Kerridge stone-slate roof, stone ridge and 4 stone chimneys. L-shaped plan with added range. 2-storey, 3-bay south front. Left 2 bays have rubble hood moulds over a 3-light stone mullion and 3 C20 altered openings. West front shows heavy roof timbers in gable and primitive architrave over 6-panelled door to Tower Hill House, and projecting part at left end has 2, 2-light chamfered stone mullions to the cellar and 2 windows at the rear. A window with horn used as glazing is reported. Interior: Holly Tree Cottage has timber-framed partition walls and heavy ceiling beams. Tower Hill has late C18 6-panelled doors, moulded panels in window reveals and 2 pine panelled cupboards in chimney breast. Dogleg painted mahogany staircase with square balusters under a moulded elliptical opening with panelled soffits. 2 chamfered beams in kitchen with flat stops.
