Part of large house, now subdivided. (Other parts listed separately). 1789 and
1826 dates on rear. Incised stucco with chamfered quoins to either end.
Graduated slate roof with stone mid and end chimneys. Early C19 front with
later alterations. 3 storeys, 7 bays overall. Cast-iron railings to north end
which has 2 doors side by side; left-hand door has projecting Tuscan porch,
flanking lights and rectangular fanlight. 2 sashes to each upper floor,
12-paned to 1st and 9-paned to top. Some re-used C18 panelling in hall. South
end of property has projecting shop window, recessed doors, one 16-paned sash
and one 8-paned sash. Four 12-paned sashes to 1 st floor, four trompe l'oeil
'windows' to top floor. 1st floor bands. Moulded cornice carried on paired,
block corbels.
