GV II

House, now divided into 2. Early and mid C19. No. 118 is of yellow brick, No. 120 of slightly darker more mottled brick. Slate roofs, hipped to no. 118. Single-pile block added to W elevation of earlier building (see nos. 116, 118 amd 120, item No. 2/103). 2 storeys. W elevation, no. 118: sashes with glazing bars under gauged flat arches, 2 to ground floor, 3 to first floor. Central doorway with part glazed door and rectangular fanlight, under open porch (reputedly imported from elsewhere) with decorative cast iron panels to top and slender columns on additional bases. No. 120 : canted bay with leaded lights to ground floor, one 2-light and one single-light casement to first floor, both with glazing bars. Imported C18 wooden doorway, consisting of semi-circular arch with console keystone, impost bands and rusticated surround, Roman Doric fluted pilasters, entablature with triglyphs, guttae and dentil cornice. Listed for group value.
