CRANTOCK CRANTOCK SW 76 SE 4/49 Lychgate at the south entrance to - the churchyard of Church of St Carantoc GV II

Lychgate. Late C19. Slatestone and granite rubble. Hipped slate granite rubble. Tripped slate roof with ridge tiles. Lychgate has rubble walls to sides, open to front and rear. The walls have stone benches on the inner sides and central dressed granite pier. Central granite coffin rest and pair of wooden gates with chamfered wooden lattice. The eaves have a frieze with Gothic lettering to the inscription to front and rear.
