7/6 Blunham Old Meeting Baptist Church

Baptist meeting-house. Plaque: "TC 1751 IH", altered 1832. Red brick, heightened and altered in yellow brick. Pyramidal slate roof. Square plan, raised to 2 storeys. W elevation: symmetrical facade; ground floor has 2 doors, each of 6 moulded panels, flanking 2 sash windows; first floor has 3 sash windows with glazing bars; all openings have cambered heads. Side elevations have 2 sash windows with glazing bars to each floor, all with cambered heads. E elevation has 2 round arched windows flanking pulpit, themselves flanked by sash windows with glazing bars and cambered heads. Internal fittings early and later C19. Some monuments reset externally on W elevation, including one to Hannah, wife of Edward Sutton, d.l795. C20 flat roofed additions to N. (Christopher Stell, RCHME(E).)
