4/124 No. 32 (The Old Vicarage) - - II

House, formerly the vicarage. C17, with C19 alterations. Timber framed with roughcast exterior, and coursed rubble to E gable end, the whole colourwashed. Red tile roof. 3-room plan, one storey and attics. Ground floor LH has french windows with geometrical glazing bars, giving onto large lean-to conservatory. Gabled brick porch to centre, with pointed arched entrance, flanked by single light with pointed arched head and 3-light C20 casement. Attic has 3 gabled dormers with 2-light casements. Substantial red brick chimney stack serving 2 LH rooms, with 4 linked diagonal shafts on square base. Gables all have cusped bargeboards with moulded finials. C19 colourwashed brick wing of 2 storeys projects from E end of rear.
