Road bridge. Dated 1762 on central parapet stone, with C19 and C20 repairs. Dressed red sandstone, with calciferous sandstone quoins to parapet projections. 4 round arches, with 2 arch rings of voussoirs, larger mainstream arch, on 3 splayed piers; piers carried up to form rectangular pedestrian passing places in closed parapet. 2 smaller dry arches on curving approach on Kirkoswald side. Bench mark on central north parapet. Builders' maintenance bond dated 1762 in Carlisle Record Office (QAB/4). Lies partly in Lazonby C.P.
