ST AGNES MINGOOSE SW 74 NW 7/166 Mingoose Villa - GV II
Small house. Circa 1800. Killas rubble with brick arches over the openings. Dry Delabole hipped roof with brick chimneys over the side walls. Plan: Double-depth plan. 2 front rooms flanking an entrance hall leading to stair hall between former dairy, on the left, and kitchen on the right. Small C20 addition allows covered access between kitchen door and back dairy door. Exterior: 2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-window front with central doorway. Original openings spanned by shallow brick arches. C19 panelled door with 2 tall round-headed panels. Circa late C19 or C20 2-pane horned sashes. Interior has most of its original features including dog-leg stair, moulded ceiling beams, panelled doors and a wooden mantelpiece around the kitchen fireplace.
