ZENNOR SW 43 SE 1/286 Treveal Cottage - GV II House with adjoining cottage or former shippon. C18. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Scantle slate roof with dressed granite stack over left hand gable end and over cross party wall towards right. Plan: 2 room house with central lobby entrance and later cottage or former shippon with loft over, adjoining on the right. Exterior: 2 storeys. Overall 3 window south-east front, house on the left with nearly symmetrical 2 window front with approximately central doorway and 1 window cottage front on the right with doorway on its left and window over. House has circa late C19 4-panel door and porch; C20 16-pane horned sashes at ground floor and C20 2- pane casement to first floor. Cottage has old 9-pane fixed light to ground floor and circa late C19 4-pane sash to first floor. Interior: not inspected. Part of an unspoiled coastal hamlet set in the ancient field system of this part of Cornwall.
