Parish church. Late C12, C14, early C16 and late C19 (including reworking of much window tracery). Chapter house added 1983 at W end. Coursed ironstone and cobblestones, with ashlar dressings. Clay tile roofs. Chancel, N vestry, nave,N and S aisles, S porch, W tower. Chancel: rebuilt early C14.S elevation has 2-light pointed-arched window to E and single light to W. 3- light pointed arched E window, restored 1984. Pointed chancel arch. N vestry: late C19, with paired lights to E and doorway to W. Nave: originally late C12 and aisleless. 3-bay pointed-arched arcades to and S, S one early C14, N one late C19. S elevation clerestory has embattled parapet and 3 2-light windows with square heads. N elevation clerestory has plain parapet and 3 pointed-arched 2-light windows. N aisle: 1858. 2-light windows to W and E. N elevation has 2 windows, of 3 and 2-lights. These flank a reset late C12 round-headed doorway. Archway has large roll with beakhead mouldings, some with grotesque faces, and label carved with billets. S aisle: early C14. 2-light pointed-arched window to E. S wall has C16 3- light window with square head, and C14 single light. C19 W window. S porch: C16. Timber framed with red brick infill and gabled clay tile roof. Outer archway has carved foliage to spandrels. W tower: late C14. 3 stages, with angle buttresses and embattled parapet. Octagonal stair turret projects slightly from SW angle. Bell-stage has 2-light windows. Middle stage has small single lights. W elevation ground stage has 2-light windows above a doorway now giving onto C20 chapter house. Interior: nave has C15 roof with carved bosses. Other roofs C19. S aisle has late C12 font with fluted circular bowl on C19 base. C17 pulpit combines some C16 linenfold panels. A S aisle pew also combines some linenfold panelling. Chancel SW window has roundel of C14 glass showing 2 leopards.
