BLINDBOTHEL MOSSER NY 12 SW 13/11 Underwood and barn adjoining II

Farmhouse and barn. Dated 1742 over rear door with initials I&SF (Isaac & Susanna Fletcher) in lead over front porch; barn alterations dated and inscribed on stone in blocked window J&KR (Jackson & Kate Rowlin) 1925. Roughcast walls with eaves cornice and V-jointed quoins. Graduated greenslate roof with right coped gable; roughcast chimney stacks. Barn has roughcast walls under Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays, with rear extension and long higher left barn. Top-glazed panelled door in painted stone architrave within porch of shaped side stones under segmental hood on fluted pilasters. Sash windows with glazing bars, that to right of entrance larger, all in painted stone architraves. Barn has off-centre plank doors under segmental arch. Plank doors at either side, with slit vents under eaves. Right return wall of extension has plank door in stone surround, the lintel inscribed (but covered by render) and date. Interior has panelled doors, that in passage within panelled reveal under fanlight. Broad stone staircase with turned balusters and moulded handrail. Lower right washhouse and breeze-block extension to barn are not of interest.
