House and 2 shops. Early C19. Painted incised stucco with eaves cornice and raised quoins. Graduated greenslate roof with coped gables and kneelers; roughcast chimney stacks. 2-storey, 3-bay house with lower extension wall to right; 2 corner shops at right-angles are on Curwen Street (No.12) 2 storeys, single bay each. House has panelled door with overlight in eaned painted architrave under console-bracketed pediment. Sash windows in painted stone surrounds. Shops have early C20 shop windows and doors in wooden pilastered surrounds. Sash windows above in painted stone architraves. Shops are listed for G.V. as they are integral with No.1.
