Farmhouse, circa early C18 with mid-C19 extension to rear. Re-fenestrated in early C19. Rubble stone with large stone quoins. Asbestos slate roof with gable ends. Large stone stack on right-hand gable end and large projecting stone stack on left- hand gable end. Brick shafts above tapering stone chimneys with drip courses. Originally 2 rooms with cross passage and dairy to rear to form L-shaped plan. Kitchen added in angle in circa mid C19. 2 storeys, almost symmetrical 3 window east front. Ground floor with 2 double 12-pane sashes, flanking central C19 panelled door, partly glazed with slate hipped hood above. Wood sash to right of door. Three 16-pane sashes, without horns above. All windows with crown glass and with rendered lintels and large granite jambstones. Chamfered ceiling beams with slight run-out stops in left-hand room (on south). Upper floors not inspected.
