BROOMHALL C.P. HEATLEY LANE SJ 64 NW 6/36 The Coronerage - II -
Farmhouse, early C19. Roughcast on brickwork and brickwork with tiled roof. 2 storeys and attic, 3 bays, with late C19 2 storey wing to rear (north) in English Garden Wall Bond. Projecting rendered plinth. A pair of canted bay windows, with glazing bars, flank a projecting gabled porch with French windows and side lights. The porch has a shaped barge board and finial. First floor and attic windows are slightly recessed flush casements with stone sills and cambered arches. The facade and both gables are roughcast. Gable-end stacks. The rear wing has an eaves dentil course and slate roof. Interior: Panelled linings to bay windows. Staircase with cut and bracketed string, hardwood turned newel, square balusters and panelling. C19 4-panel doors. The rear wing has been altered.
