Marshfield Bank Farm 3/20 House

Farm house, late C18 brown brick, old slate roof recently replaced with concrete tiles. 2½ storeys, 3 bays, with lower wing to north, south front, in Flemish Bond, has replaced door in heavy dowelled frame with panel soffited hood supported on shaped brackets. 3 light casements with glazing bars, stone sills and flat cambered arches with turning pieces. Gable end chimney stacks. At the rear the brickwork is in English Garden Wall Bond and there are some horizontal sliding sashes.

Interior: Bevelled beams and exposed ceiling joist in the north wing, which may well predate the present house. There are 6 panel doors in the south section of the building.
