Farmhouse: C17 core, early C18 addition with early C19 and C20 alterations. Irregular bond and English garden wall bond orange brick with Kerridge stone-slate roof and stone ridge. 3 brick chimneys, 1 with 2 diamond stacks. L-shaped plan. 2-storey, 4-bay front. Left - end bay has 3-light wooden casements under stone lintels. The-upper one next to a blocked 2-light tall wooden mullion. 5-panelled door (the central one with a raised field) is flanked by a 2-light casement with a 3-light casement above all under stone lintels. Right 2 bays project under gable and have 4, C20 single lights under flat brick head. Interior: Right hand portion probably timber framed originally. Inglenook arrangement survives with chamfered firebeam and deeply chamfered ceiling beam with a bead stop. In other room ceiling beam _ is bead moulded. 2 C17 8-panelled doors with reeded rails and newels of original staircase. Purlins and ridge original but trusses early C19.
