1/3 Boundary stone at junction of Bosley C.P. with Gawsworth & Sutton C.P's.NGR 9297 6849 II

Boundary stone, probably 1849, of red sandstone. Triangular in plan with rounded head. B for Bosley on east side, G for Gawsworth west and S for Sutton north, probably (as with other stones of the same type on boundaries of this and adjoining parishes) dated 1849 beneath each parish initial; this stone is too deeply set in the earth for date to show.
