Formerly 2 weaver's cottages now public house: dated 1843 with C20
alterations. Squared buff sandstone blocks to front, remainder
purple-red brick. Kerridge stone-slate roof, stone ridge and 2 brick
chimneys. 3-storey, symmetrical 4-bay fronts. End bays have C20 bow
windows under plain lintels below but 16-pane sashes above suggest
originals. Top storey has 3-light wooden casements with glazing bars
to weaving loft. Central doors (one blocked) have ashlar surrounds
with date tablet reading JSK 1843 above. To rear weaving loft windows
are 3-light horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars.
