Cottage, mid C17, altered; extended mid C20. Repaired oak small framing; clay tile roof. 1 storey and attic; 2 windows. One 3-pane and one 2-pane window to each storey, those to bedrooms under eyebrow dormers with swept tiling. 2 gable chimneys of brick, built within the oak frame. The front of the cottage is as sketched by T Raffles Davison in 1884 (British Architect December 1884), with minor alterations. Interior: A few oak beams; the lower storey is altered.
