CROWTON C.P. AINSWORTH LANE SJ 57 NE (North Side) 1/1 Pear Tree Farmhouse II
Farmhouse: dated 1798. Flemish bond red brick, Welsh slate roof and 2 gable brick chimneys. 2-storey, nearly symmetrical 3-bay front. End bays have 16-pane sashes under cambered brick heads below, 12-pane sashes above. Central bay has board door in simple wooden case. Above is a stone plaque reading P R S with a heart in the middle and a 1798 gauged brick head. Lean-to extension to the left and outshut to the rear.
